We connect animals in crisis with the people who want to help.
One Rise Foundation is a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit built around one idea: every rescue animal deserves a real chance, and every donor deserves to know exactly where their money goes.

Why we exist
Every year in the US, roughly 390,000 dogs and cats are euthanized in shelters — most for lack of funds, not lack of hope.
We started One Rise because we kept seeing the same pattern: small shelters and rescues doing incredible work, then losing an animal because there was no money for a $2,000 surgery, or no foster home available in time, or no way to fund a transport out of a high-kill facility.
Meanwhile, donors were sending money into big-name charities without a clue where it actually landed. The gap between the two — that's where we live.
We partner directly with verified shelters and rescues, help them run campaigns for specific animals in crisis, and route 100% of donations to the vet clinic, foster family, or transport service actually doing the work.
No middlemen. No opaque overhead. No fundraising for the sake of fundraising.
What we stand for
Four commitments we won't compromise on.
Radical transparency
Vet invoices, receipts, and disbursement records are uploaded to every campaign as costs are paid. Nothing hidden, nothing pooled without your knowledge.
Direct disbursement
Funds are paid straight from One Rise to the vet clinic, foster family, or transport partner. Never routed through personal accounts, never held for float.
Verified partners only
Every shelter we work with is a 501(c)(3), has active vet references, and passes our operational audit. We turn away partners who don't clear the bar.
Every animal matters
Old dogs, three-legged cats, animals with special needs — the ones other platforms won't feature. If they can be saved and a rescue is fighting for them, we run their campaign.
The team
Small team. Serious commitment.
We're four full-time and two part-time, backed by a volunteer network across 18 states. Everyone here has come from animal welfare or nonprofit operations — no marketers, no consultants, no pass-throughs.
